1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using FieldChief, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you are using FieldChief on behalf of a business, you represent that you have authority to bind that business to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Description of Service

FieldChief is an AI-powered field service management platform. It provides tools for client management, quoting, invoicing, scheduling, accounting, and customer communication via an AI agent. You interact with FieldChief through Telegram (as the contractor) and your customers receive communications via SMS.

3. Your Account

  • You must provide accurate information when creating your account
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and bot tokens
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use FieldChief
  • One business per account — do not share accounts across separate businesses

4. Your Data

You own your data. FieldChief does not claim ownership of any content you create, upload, or store on the platform — including client records, quotes, invoices, photos, and communications.

You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transmit your data solely for the purpose of providing the service. This includes sending your data to third-party AI providers to generate agent responses.

We do not use your business data to train AI models. We do not sell your data to third parties.

5. AI Agent Limitations

The AI agent is a tool to assist with your business operations. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated responses may contain errors — you are responsible for reviewing important communications before they are sent to customers
  • The AI agent is not a substitute for professional legal, financial, or tax advice
  • Accounting data generated by the AI should be reviewed by a qualified professional for tax filing purposes
  • You are responsible for the accuracy of quotes, invoices, and other business documents sent to your customers

6. Customer Communications

When you use FieldChief to send SMS messages to your customers, you represent that:

  • You have obtained any necessary consent from your customers to contact them via text message
  • You comply with all applicable laws regarding electronic communications, including the TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act) and CAN-SPAM Act
  • You will not use FieldChief to send spam or unsolicited marketing messages

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use FieldChief for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to access other customers' data or databases
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the service
  • Use the service to harass, abuse, or threaten others
  • Exceed reasonable usage limits or attempt to abuse the AI agent
  • Resell or redistribute the service without authorization

8. Pricing and Payment

  • FieldChief is billed based on actual AI agent usage (per hour of agent time)
  • Usage is calculated monthly and billed at the end of each billing period
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice
  • Free trial periods are provided at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued
  • SMS messaging costs may be passed through at cost

9. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. We are not liable for temporary service interruptions due to maintenance, infrastructure issues, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of planned maintenance.

10. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. Upon cancellation:

  • You may request an export of your data before account deletion
  • Your data will be deleted within 30 days of account closure
  • Any outstanding usage charges remain due

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, with notice where practical.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FieldChief and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

FieldChief is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles.
